◆ Percentyle
Resources, what to use, nothing more
A deliberately short list. Depth on a few sources beats shallow exposure to many.
Reading (VARC fuel)
Read 2-3 long-form articles daily from: Aeon · Psyche · The Atlantic · The New Yorker · 3 Quarks Daily · Caravan · Mint Lounge · Project Syndicate · Nautilus. Rotate topics, economics, philosophy, science, history, arts, to match CAT's range.
Practice & past papers
The gold standard
Past CAT papers 2017-2025. The most authentic practice for every section, especially DILR sets and RC passages. Solve them by topic and under timed conditions.
Mock series, pick ONE
IMS SIMCAT, TIME AIMCAT, or 2IIM. One series, analysed deeply, all the way through. Don't fragment across platforms.
Your own materials
These are tailored to you, lean on them hardest:
- Error log & insight library, built from your mocks (see the Mock Engine).
- Weekly mock builders, generate fresh VARC/LRDI/QA Google-Form mocks on demand.
One series, not five
Pick one mock series and stick with it, chasing multiple platforms fragments your analysis and inflates anxiety. The depth of your analysis on one consistent series is what moves your percentile.
Keep it lean
Resist the urge to collect more books, more apps, more channels. Everything you need to reach your target percentile is on this list and in Percentyle. Execution > accumulation.
